Composer

Alisa Kobzar is a composer of instrumental, electroacoustic, multimedia and interactive works. Her artistic practice focuses on multimedia composition, human-computer interaction, shared instrument design, motion tracking systems, and machine learning in artistic contexts. Since 2018 she has been studying and conducting artistic research at the Institute of Electronic Music and Acoustics(IEM), University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG), where she also works as research assistant in interdisciplinary artistic research projects. Since 2019 she is co-founder of the multimedia duo rotkäppchen (with dancer and choreographer Lisa Mc Guire), creating interactive performances combining dance, electronic music, visuals and HCI systems. Her works have been performed internationally in Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Poland, Norway, Romania, Czech, Portugal, Italy, France, USA, Japan, Switzerland, Greece, UK, and other.
